Kelleys Island State Park
A Sand Beach, camping along the shoreline, nature walks, and quarry hikes – Kelleys Island State Park is a great place for family fun. This link will take you to a story that I wrote for Long Weekends spring/summer issue, a supplement to Ohio Magazine.

Since the Kelleys Island Audubon Club schedules many nature programs from May into September, I am including a link to their web site also.
They have special birding programs during migrations in May and September, an island kayak paddle that stops at five beaches around the 17-mile circumference of the island, programs relating to the annual Monarch Butterfly migration across Lake Erie, and much more.
