If I had to describe myself with one word it would be artist - a visual artist and an artist with words. My artwork is included in Ohio Online Visual Arts Registry. I'm working with various galleries in the Midwest to promote my oil paintings and abstract light photography.

Sharonville +5: Then, Now, and Interpreted

Included in this group of documentary images are 5 photographs of mine that are part of the FOTOFOCUS 2018 BIENNIAL: Open Archives related exhibition Sharonville +5: Then, Now, and Interpreted. As explained in the Curatorial Statement:

Sharonville +5:

Then, Now, and Interpreted

5 Contemporary Artist/Photographers – Images of Sharonville and within 5 Miles

THEN

Documentary Images from Historic Image Archives

NOW

Photographers captured contemporary images of the same historic locations in 2018

INTERPRETED

As an artist, each photographer had the option to enhance their NOW image

The exhibition included my images of locations in downtown Sharonville as well as images by Joe Bayer, Bernadette Clemens-Walatka, Susan Ernst, and Lynda Rust. Archival images were provided by The Society of Historic Sharonville, Gorman Heritage Farm, Heritage Village Museum and Educational Center, and Great Parks of Hamilton County.

Below are my images paired with their archival image. By choice, I only Interpreted my images by cropping/cutting my images to focus on the location.

Digital images from this exhibition will be offered to the participating community organizations, to become part of their digital archives for future generations to access for personal or historic research.
