© Becky Linhardt 2010
Southern hospitality with a British accent, innkeepers Gill and Alder Blackburn welcome guests to their award winning Bed & Breakfast in Kentucky’s Bluegrass Region.
What’s Special
Southern Hospitality
“We love to host romantic couples and create customized romance packages,” said Alder Blackburn. “The cottage is a favorite, being a separate building with its own 2 person whirlpool tub, but we also have 3 other rooms that have private whirlpool tubs.”
Beautiful Gardens and Terraces
The 1823 house is surrounded by 3 acres of landscaped gardens with magnolia trees and draping wisteria. Lexington’s fine dining and other attractions are just minutes away.
Cup ‘a
True to their British heritage, you get a really great cup of tea here – any time. Good coffee also.
Breakfast
Full breakfast has a bit of Southern, a bit of British, cuisine to enjoy.
Location, location, location
Rose Hill Inn is not far from Keeneland Race Course and the Bluegrass Region’s beautiful horse farms, Lexington with its historic homes and museums, and Woodford Reserve on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.
